Greetings and Merry Christmas. Everything worked well earlier today, but just now when I tried to get packet spots DX4WIN, version 8.05, nothing happened. I looked at Preferences (I'm at User Level-Expert, but sure don't feel like one) and found all the Packet Setup Parameters blank. For example, the Type window is blank. If I click on the arrow inside the window it shows a choice of None or Regular. If I click on either, the choices disappear, but the Type window is still blank. The same is true of the COM Port, Baud Rate, Flow, Data/Parity, etc. All these had entries before but are now blank.
To make it more confusing, I could still connect to a distant server, but couldn't connect to any in New England. Firefox, email, and packet spots on N1MM+ Logger are all working OK. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks es 73.
