Thank you all for those suggestions.  However on startup it would be nice to
auto clear old spots option

And related to this, you can go to File>Preferences>Packet1> half way down that
page/window...on the left side...."Age for Spots (min)" and then under
that....for "Spots" ....you can set a time so that any spots older than that
time are deleted when you do the "Delete Old Spots" from the DX Spots window
(as mentioned before by Mike/W0VTT). You'll see the minimum time you have set
in parenthesis next to the command in the DX Spot window . So at least that
way, when you start up DX4WIN, if you do a "Delete old spots", it would only
delete OLD spots....and no new ones that came up since you started the Program
back up....assuming you don't set it for some ridiculously short time......like
a couple of minutes! I have mine set for 60 minutes. I don't care about spots
over 60 minutes old. You might prefer some other time/setting/amount. I know
you can set it as short as 1 minute. I'm not sure what the maximum time is you
could set it for.

Hello Tia,

Right click in the Spots window and select either Delete Old Spots or Clear All
Spots.  Unfortunately, there is not a way to make the disappear automatically.

Subject: [Dx4win] Clear All Sports

I don’t run DX4win up and running all the time. I usually will close at the end
of the day or if running another program like WSJT.  Therefore when I restart
DX4win there are old left over spots in the ‘dx spots be arrival’. Is there a
setting that would clear all of these spots on the start up of DX4win?
