I have a problem which you may be able to help me resolve. Last week, having been in XE for the past 5 weeks, I returned home and started up the PC and rig etc. The PC then downloaded three Windows updates. That did not seem to have affected anything until I tried to use CCuser and DX4Win. There was a problem with communication between those two programs. However, over the past few days most of the problems seem to have disappeared. It has been suggested that MS are sending patches? The last difficulty that I have is with spots. The spots are appearing as they did previously on the DX tab of CCuser. They also appear in the Packet window of DX4Win. That is where the problem starts. When I start up DX4W lots of spots come in and pass though the Packet Window into the DXspots window and thence to the band map. >From this moment new spots appear in the packet window but don't follow the rest of the path, unless I hit the SH/DX tab on the packet window. Then they complete the process. Previously the process was automatic I am assuming that following the updates a tick is missing from some item on a drop-down menu somewhere. I have been looking unsuccessfully. I emailed KK4HD the author of DX4Win as soon as this occurred but it seems that he has little interest in his product these days. 73 and thanks for any suggestions.
