Make sure you have a good offline (usb drive or cloud) backup of your log
file - the .dxl file, in the dx4win save folder. That's the main thing.

Then reinstall dx4win from the download link. It will install an older
version 9.

Then run the update process to get you back to the latest version.

Then copy your log back into the dx4win save folder.

Lastly,  re-set all your preferences. Radio type, packet, etc those are
likely lost unless you exported them before and are able to import that
file. But they are pretty easy to re-set.
