Weekly, I generate updated data files for all DX4WIN versions:
- DX Calendar
- Master Callsigns
- Membership Lists
- DX Cluster nodes
This update used to occur on Saturday mornings around 11 or 12z UTC,
depending on Daylight Saving Time. However, the LoTW database
(included as part of the Membership Lists) is not updated by ARRL
until Sunday. Therefore, I now issue the data file updates on Monday
mornings around 11 or 12z UTC. This unfortunately means the DX
Calendar will be a couple of days old. I hope that is not a problem.
DX4WIN 8.0x and earlier users can use the DX4WIN Data Updater to check
for updates:
https://ad1c.us/dx4win/updater/
DX4WIN 9.0x users will generally have to wait until Paul KK4HD makes
the updates available using Help | Check for Updates. The updated
files for DX4WIN 9.0x are current as of 15z on Monday, September 29 (I
just checked).
Please note that updates to the Country Files and Custom Awards
databases occur on a somewhat frequent but irregular basis. Watch the
DX4WIN reflector for announcements. If there is a need for a Custom
Awards update outside of the current schedule (about every two
months), please let me know.
