I'm currently working on an update to the DX4WIN Custom Award
database. The last release was late August.

There will be a change to the Parks on the Air (POTA) award that will
affect DX4WIN 9.0x users (only). Both Australia (AU-) and France
(FR-) are issuing reference numbers in the 10000+ range. This messes
up the ordering of the reference numbers in the DX4WIN Custom Award
Value field (i.e. it looks like 999, 1000, 10000, 10001, etc., 1001,
1002, etc.).

At the suggestion of David, K2DBK, I am going to change these two park
groups from 4-digit reference numbers to 5-digit numbers. This will
require a one-time action in DX4WIN.

1. Help | Check for Updates
2. Use F8 to select only the POTA award in the Custom Award field
3. QSO | Multiple QSO operations | Check Custom Awards.

The last step above will convert any 4-digit reference numbers for
Australia and France to 5-digit reference numbers, i.e. AU-####
becomes AU-##### and FR-#### becomes FR-#####. This only needs to be
done once, and will "correct" those reference numbers automatically.

I am currently making changes to my software "under the hood" to be
more compatible with my new revision control system, so the release is
taking a little longer than I thought it would. I hope to be done
either later today (November 12) or the next day.

Please let me know of any concerns. The POTA changes above will NOT
affect users of DX4WIN 8.x and earlier, because those versions don't
have a method to do the automatic conversion of reference numbers.
You'll just have to live with the out-of-order listing.
