Hello Tom, I'm sure they will help you configure your equipment with DX4WIN
here. There are real experts
I'll tell you how I have it.
In Windows, enter device manager (COM and LPT ports)
In my case I have Enhanced (COM 5)
Standard (COM 7)

Then inside DX4WIN:
File/Preferences/Radio
Type (Check there that you have your radio selected)
In Baudrate 38400 (It doesn't work for me with another value)
And check that the COM port matches the one you have in Windows Device
Management.
