Hello Luc, I don't know ALL of the differences, but at least one of them is location. I used to get mis-matches because a QSL had a different 6 digit grid square than the one is had on a previous QSL. (IO44aa vs IO44bc). Rick Murphy K1MU would know. You might ask this question on the LoTW reflector.
