RIP Alexey; Minäkin tapasin hänet usein, viimeksi toissa elokuussa, jolloin yhdessä Alexanderin ja hänen kanssaan istuskelimme iltapäivää eräässä Maratan sivukadun "Neukkutyylin baarissa". Alexey oli aina ystävällinen ja humaani ihminen, vaikka meillä usein oli kielivaikeuksia. Olin juuri ajatellut kirjoittaa Pietarin kavereille ja ehdottaa tapaamista toukokuun matkallani - nyt yksi on joukosta poissa, valitettavasti.

Alexei was one of the founders (1986) and the permanent President of the St. Petersburg DX Club. For many years he has collaborated with the editors of the Handbook World Radio TV Handbook, and his name you can regularly see on the editorial page of the directory in the section "Contributors". Alexey was extremely good-natured, friendly and cheerful person. And so he will remain forever in our memory. In October 2012 Alexei was 60 years old.
