Jos l�hetinantennin suuntakuvio on voimakkaan dipolaarinen, niin tehoa l�htee minimien suuntaan (eli ilmeisesti juuri JM:n suuntaan 90�) eritt�in v�h�n. Ellei antennin suuntakuviota tiedet�, t�m�n olettamuksen voi testata yritt�m�ll� vastaanottoa paikassa, joka on JM:n ja l�hettimen yhdyssuoralla, mutta vastakkaisella puolella asemaa kuin JM.
