Via Steve Whitt / MWC: Our Programme Distirbution Department has arranged for a third mediumwave frequency to carry coverage of the two Champions League football matches between PSV and Liverpool on 3 and 11 April. The 600 kW transmitter at Pori, Finland on 963 kHz will also be on the air, augmenting 1314 and 702 kHz. Until 1 January this transmitter carried the programmes of Finnish public broadcaster YLE, but has been silent since then. The official coverage zone is NE Europe, though it always put a strong signal into this part of Europe too.
