Kuka vielä sanoo että raportit eivät herätä asemilla mielenkiintoa? Tosin näin
liikuttunut sävy on jo hiukan harvinaista ja johtuu myös tuon dx-ystävällisen
guatemalalaisen aseman Radio Verdadin (4052.54 khz) omasta huolesta, kun salama
rikkoi lähettimen syyskuussa. Kuulin aseman elokuun alussa Keski-Suomessa.
Verdad ei ole ihan helppo kuultava, ja sinne meni viikko sitten mp3, jossa oli
uskonnollista marimbamusiikkia ja heikko ID. Yritin rohkaista Edgar Madridia,
että tuollainen tekninen kysymys ei ole ylivoimainen kohtalon sormi (paitsi
ehkä humanisteille). Vastaus, jo kolmas samalta asemalta yhtä monessa päivässä,
tuli aivan äsken.

Thank you very much for your report. It is very useful to us. You should
know that, on September 22nd, a very bad lightning fell upon our short wave
transmitter, and destroyed the two power modules, and we have been off the air
ever since. It has been a very difficult situation, for transistors a very
difficult to find, and I have kept myself very sad. We finally got the
transistors from the United States, and a technitian got to repair one of the
two modules. Today, I installed it, but, two minutes after putting the power
on, the module exploited again. We are puzzled at so difficult situations. The
results are unpredictible. We'll continue on our effort to put it back on the
air. Ah, I forgot that you wrote in Spanish. I hope you understand English too.
