Here is my list of suggested Fixes and Improvements.
1. ALL windows in DXBase should be able to be resized, change colors and
fonts.
Some that I know can not be changed at this time are as follows.
a. Previous QSO
b. Set HF Transceiver
This window should have the ability to "Double click" and entry
and have the
radio QSY, rather than having to click the entry then click the
QSY button.
c. ALL Tools/Database Access windows
2. Add another Icon to the Summary window that can be assign (by the user)
to ANY
entry in the drop down list for this window.
3. Entering QSL managers does not follow convention of DxBase log, can not
enter
manager then click down a line and data get entered, must always use TAB.
THIS NEEDS FIXING
4. Need the following combinations under the search in Previous QSO window.
Band/Grid, Band/Prefix, Band/Call, Band/Iota, Band/WPX, Band/State,
Band/CQ zone
5. Clicking on a grid in the Summary window, whether it contains a C or W,
should only
bring up a list of the Previous contacts with the country that is
displayed in the Summary
window.
6. Need to have the ability to EDIT ALL columns in the Previous QSO window.
7. Heading given in the Summary window for Canada should show the heading to
the
center of the Province.
8. Find 4 digit grid square does not find anything in QSO log or Previous
QSO window
if the contact was logged with the 6 digit grid square number. This Need
Fixing
9. User needs to be able to ADD/REMOVE modes in the mode list.
10. When generating reports such as "QSO Related", "WithGrid". User must use
capitol
letters entered of you don't get any report. This Needs Fixing.
11. Need ADIF Export build into DXBase. (Not an external program)
12. Need USER SELECTABLE of "auto append .00" if not entered by the user.
13. NEED BAD, A programmable macro key to jump from any window, anywhere in
DXBase to the "Callsign" column of the last of next entry of the QSO
Log window
so user could hit ONE key from anywhere in DXBase and be at the
Callsign column
ready to enter a new QSO.
14. Add a user customizable "Tool Bar" with buttons that could be labeled
and programmed to do any of the functions in the customizable hot keys list.
I got to go to bed now so will let ya'll rest for now but my wheels are
still turning.
