Hi Bill, Unchecked them.... but there is still a question: why do these messages pop up now, on 1-1-02 ??? I installed DXBase a couple of months ago, and the date for the message is 18-01-2001 ! Still doesn't make sense to me ...
Indeed, I installed DXBase after April, and since there are no events for the months after april, the message will not pop up... But then is shouldn't pop up January 1st 2002, since there are NO event for January 2002... so a bug after all ? 73 and a happy new year to all of you, Frank ON9CC ----- Original Message ----- From: "FireBrick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DXBase List" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 01, 2002 2:50 PM Subject: [DXBase] Special Event explanation > You guys have me laughing. > So my new year started out with a smile. > Thank you for that. > > Go to Tools, Options > you will see a menu listing for Special Events. > Uncheck or delete any of the offending listings. > > These were default samples you got when you installed DXB. > It is a feature so you can remember bdays, anniversaries, etc. and not be > working on the radio when you wife drops a hatchet in the Lorena Bobick > zone..... > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------ > There is nothing more satisfying that having someone take a shot at you, and > miss. > ------------------------------------------------------------ > > Bill H. in Chicagoland > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > _______________________________________________ > DXBase Reflector - Please visit us on the web > www.dxbase.com > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase >
