There were differences between the PRO and the PRO II that would have 
anything to do with it's operation under DXBase. Just select the PRO in the 
DXBase menu and make sure you have the CI-V address and baud rate 
appropriatly on the radio and the application.  If you have ever used 
another ICOM radio with any software logging program you know that CI-V 
decoder box is required. These are available both from ICOM and third 
parties. Let me know if you need more details.
