The Dxbase radio address is located in the 'radios.ini' file in the DXbase folder. You can open this file with NotePad (save a copy of it before you start changing values).
Using Edit/Find look for the 706 commanding routines under the title [ICOM_IC-706]. You will find the radio address in the second block of definitions under the above title. DXbase current is carrying the address of 'Address=0x48' for the 706. Unless you have a real need to change the address in DXbase, I suggest that you change the 706 address at the radio end. You really need to first go to the radio and verify that the address it is carrying is the one that you expect to enter into DXbase. Ron ........ I have used the settings of 1200 baud, no parity 8,1 with no luck. Don't see where to set the address of the radio into DXbase but I am using the default of the 706. I am using a W1GEE interface rather than the icom provided one. Can anyone help? Thanks Tom G.
