So, couldn't you just share the database file? If your using the LAN to
connect the two, for example, you could point the Laptop at some network
drive that you share. i.e. g:\dxbase\w2suq.mdb. I don't see why if you map
the network drive, DxBase is going to care.

Ahhh, yes, you are right.  I forgot about what you were actually doing.
Should have known better.  You cannot import to accomplish what you're doing
because as you figured out, the records are dupes and will be rejected.  You
should just copy your .mdb from one machine to another.
