Steve,

No. Once the prefix field has been populated, if you later change the
callsign, you will need to select the new prefix from the drop down list if
the callsign change causes it to be a different country.

Subject: [DXBase] incorrect prefixes in log???

I've finally got around to catching up on my QSL's. As I was going through
the log I noticed that there were a number of QSO's where the prefix column
doesn't agree with the call sign column.

I'm thinking that this may have something to do with places where I have
corrected a call sign.... doesn't the prefix update from the table in such
a case? (I"ve checked and the prefix mapping seems correct).

I've fixed these manually but am thinking my technique in entering must be
lacking.

Can anyone give me an idea of what I'm doing wrong???

Thanks,

Steve Silberman
