Hello Jim and list members, The file that contains the window placements etc is c:\Windows\Dxb2002.ini I use the following batch file through Windows Task Scheduler twice a day to back up that file, my qso log .mdb file, and the Default.co which is the file that denotes what columns (fields) you have setup.
Of course your paths and .mdb filename won't be the same as well as the destination folder unless you want to create a c:\archives\DXBase\ folder as I have done. Then once a week I zip this folder up and ftp it up to a backup folder I have created on the free webspace my ISP provides for me.... copy /Y C:\Progra~1\Scient~1\DXbase~1\AB7SL.mdb c:\archives\DXBase\AB7SL.mdb copy /Y C:\Progra~1\Scient~1\DXbase~1\Default.co c:\archives\DXBase\Default.co copy /Y C:\WINDOWS\Dxb2002.ini c:\archives\DXBase\Dxb2002.ini I hope this helps....
