Greetings!

The following, (taken from the UK licence document!) are the correct and ONLY
prefixes for the UK!

There are several UK mapping prefixes in DXBase which are completely wrong
also!  I will send those direct to Jack.

Note the "United Kingdom" (UK) consists of 7 DXCC countries, G GD GI GJ GM GU
and GW.

First the exceptions:

GB and MB are special event prefixes that can be used anywhere in the UK
irrespective of which country they are in.

GE was used in 1977 in all UK countries for the Silver Jubilee.

GQ, MQ and 2Q can be used anywhere in the UK for the Golden Jubilee

GV used once as a special event in all UK countries.

GZ and MZ have been permitted for the Shetland Is = GM

GK0 was used ONCE for a very special event near London = G

The rules (in alphabetical order)

GC, MC and 2C = GW Wales
GD, MD and 2D = GD IOM
2E            = G England
GH, MH and 2H = GJ Jersey
GI, MI and 2I = GI Northern Ireland
GJ, MJ and 2J = GJ Jersey
GM, MM and 2M = GM Scotland
GN, MN and 2N = GI Northern Ireland
GP, MP and 2P = GU Guernsey
GS, MS and 2S = GM Scotland
GT, MT and 2T = GD IOM
GU, MU and 2U = GU Guernsey
GW, MW and 2W = GW Wales
GX, MX and 2X = G England
