Greetings! The following, (taken from the UK licence document!) are the correct and ONLY prefixes for the UK!
There are several UK mapping prefixes in DXBase which are completely wrong also! I will send those direct to Jack. Note the "United Kingdom" (UK) consists of 7 DXCC countries, G GD GI GJ GM GU and GW. First the exceptions: GB and MB are special event prefixes that can be used anywhere in the UK irrespective of which country they are in. GE was used in 1977 in all UK countries for the Silver Jubilee. GQ, MQ and 2Q can be used anywhere in the UK for the Golden Jubilee GV used once as a special event in all UK countries. GZ and MZ have been permitted for the Shetland Is = GM GK0 was used ONCE for a very special event near London = G The rules (in alphabetical order) GC, MC and 2C = GW Wales GD, MD and 2D = GD IOM 2E = G England GH, MH and 2H = GJ Jersey GI, MI and 2I = GI Northern Ireland GJ, MJ and 2J = GJ Jersey GM, MM and 2M = GM Scotland GN, MN and 2N = GI Northern Ireland GP, MP and 2P = GU Guernsey GS, MS and 2S = GM Scotland GT, MT and 2T = GD IOM GU, MU and 2U = GU Guernsey GW, MW and 2W = GW Wales GX, MX and 2X = G England E&OE! 73 Fred G4BWP
