I meant no sound at all from anything. From within XP (control panel,sounds,sound scheme,windows default),from music cd's,from dxbase. Nothing at all. But when I reinstalled win 98, I get sound from everything I tried. Dxbase,music cd's, from within win98, SB test s/w, all works fine. Except winxp pro.
