I agree. The IOTA data base is the most dynamic of all those
available in DXbase.
As examples  -   "how many new US States are there likely to
be in the future"? And new DXCC entities are now fairly rare.

Right now a new IOTA has become active in Indonesia  -  OC-250.
Until someone activated the island group a couple of days back
there was no IOTA reference allocated although the island group
is listed in the IOTA Directory.
If one has a copy of the latest IOTA Directory it is easy enough
to identify the new island grouping, it's generic name and
lat/long attributes. It is then easy enough to add these details
into the DXbase IOTA data base.

If one does this as new IOTA references are issued it is
simple to keep the database up to date. Of course when one
upgrades to the next version of DXbase you will need to copy
over your existing IOTA database if Jack/Courtney have not
got their database up to speed.
With new IOTA numbers coming up fairly frequently that is a
nigh on impossible task for them.
