Jack, I use the IF-232C with my TS-680s (well, until they both got fried by lightning in June). I believe that is what you're speaking of. I seemed to be able to choose the TS-450, 140 and some of the other Kenwood rigs and always had control through DXbase. I still have the manual. Let me know if you need more info.
