[DXBase] internet port and dxb2K

Does anyone know if
dxb2K will accept a port number after the IP address to connect to an
internet site? For example,
###.###.###.###:9999 placed in the HoST FILE?  Been trying to connect to
an internet site using port 7300 and no luck.
