Upgrading to 2003 is well worth the money. It correctly decodes a KG4XX to Guantanamo and a KG4YYY to the 4th call area. (I assume you know that a KG4 that is a 2X2 is assigned to Gitmo while a 2X3 is assigned to 4th area USA) Actually I don't think you can consider the KG4 situation a bug as in 1999, I don't think the FCC where issuing KG4YYY to stateside as yet.
I've used 2003 to import .adi files from Writelog and other programs sent to me by stations I manage qsls for. Are you sure the TR .adi file correctly shows the proper STATE syntax? DXB has the cleanest interface of the majors. I've owned/used/examined most of them. Adding Ducie and other New Countries is quite easy, even an old blind wino like me can do it.
