Hi,

OK, another year's CQWW is in the books, and I have a nice fat ADIF file
(generated by N1MM Contest Logger) that I'm going to be importing into
DXBase in the next few days. Before doing so, however, I have a couple of
concerns.

I ran reports of which entities I have confirmed and worked/not-confirmed
on all contacts before the start of CQWW. Since N1MM Logger doesn't care a
whit about award chasing, all I have is a file of my activity from the
contest that I will import into DX Base. Is there a way to easily determine
which QSO's will need to be QSL'ed without examining each new QSO? (" Let's
see here...J3...did I already have him worked on 10 before the contest or
is he a 10-Meter new one?") I'd love to know exactly how many new band QSOs
this year's contest yielded for me, but I don't know how to run such a
query (or even if such a thing is possible).

Second, how can I add a note to each QSO (on a batch basis) so that in a
year from now I'll easily see which ones were contest Q's versus normal
Q's? Is there a way to do that in the import utility or will I need to
modify the records in the contest logger and re-export?

Third, is there a way to automatically populate the names and other
information on import? I.E. fill in name, note, QTH, etc, either based on
data on my Buckmaster CD or from previous QSOs with that particular entity?
While I only made about 435 or so QSO's, I'd like to be able to have
accurate information on all of them if I can.

Finally, I did a test-import (to see how it would behave) and while
everything worked well by and large, one QSO was left out because somehow
DXBASE didn't recognize the prefix (TO5T as Martinique). How can I make
sure this goes smoothly when I do it for real into my existing database?

Thanks.
