If I understand correctly, I think this will be a big help. By "DXCC country total" you must mean countries worked, but not confirmed. Using the Wizard, check the "Auto Detect New Ones" with "Active Catagory" = "Countries". Then go to QSO filters, check "Not CFM" and to be on the safe side set "QSO Date > 20021018. This should find the only new one that is unconfirmed and worked during the contest.
