George, Most folks who discover a callsign that does not map properly, mention it here on the reflector and folks update their own personal prefix mapping tables. At Scientific Solutions, we watch for these postings and update our master list as well. It is rare that DXbase does not recognize one, but it does happen when new callsigns show up for those countries where the same prefix can be used in several different DXCC countries such as the CE0 group, ZK, and JD locations.
As you now know, updating the prefix database in DXbase is pretty simple.
