Yep, this is something that needs to be looked at very seriously by Jack. If you click on a spot that is split freq. (and CORRECTLY designated as such in the spot) DXBase will change the freq of VFO B BIG BUT it will NOT change the MODE of VFO B (on the Kenwood)
