I think all the information about the process of printing labels is
described in the help file under the section QSL cards and labels | Process
Overview and I won't try to retype all that here. But...

Essentially, you do the following:

1. Log a QSO or click on an existing QSO.
2. Click the QSO label ICON. This stores the label data for this QSO into
the pending label file.
3. Continue for any QSOs that you wish to have on a label. This continues
to add to the pending label file.
4. You can view what is in your pending label file from the Tools |
Database Access | labels menu.
5. To print the labels in your pending label file, you use Output | User
Designed labels

Alternatively,
Instead of step 2 and 3 above, you could use the DXbase Wizard to
automatically create pending label records by using any of the selection
criteria and QSO filters and let the Wizard automatically extract label info
and put it into your pending label file.

To print the labels that are pending, follow step 5 above. After printing
labels, you would be asked if you wanted to set the QSL sent field to
today's date.

The QSLS and QSL Sent fields can be automatically set at the time you store
the pending label to be printed by setting that option in the Log section of
the user options, or alternatively you can wait to have these fields set
after you print the labels.

The label process in DXbase gives you a lot of flexibility and it is very
powerful. In order to fully understand all the capabilities it will be
necessary to review the information that is provided in the help file.
There are nearly 50 pages of information about the label process in the help
file and far too much to try and repeat here.

Hope this helps,
Courtney

Subject: [DXBase] Populate QSL Date Sent Field on Label Save

Does the opion "Populate QSL Date Sent Field on Label Save"
has to be 'on' for automatic label printing for every new logged QSO.

I still can't figure out in the manuel what flags has to be set for qsl
printing, only for new logged qso's.
I ran a edit on all imported qso's so all 'qsl sent' and qsls' flags are on.
So I guees I'm up to date on already printed labels from former software.

since yesterday I started to put in new qso's, so they have to pe prepaired
for qsl labeling each month.
How do I automaticly set the flags for all new logged QSO's and if a station
do not want to exchange qsl cards, what flag is to set off for labling.

I try to figure out the manual (online help) but can get it right here.
I think I'm overlooking some stuff ?

Another small thing, is there a way to select what fields you like to see on
the 'log' window.

Thanks again
Phil ON4VP
