What you quoted is correct.  There is logic in the ADIF import module of
DXbase that maps ARRL section to its appropriate US State.  I just tested an
old Field Day ADIF file and everything appears to be working fine.  If the
value for the ARRL_SECT entry in your .ADI file is a valid ARRL Section, or
if the value is a valid State abbrev, then it should map to the DXbase US
State Field.  I wonder if you are using the latest import utility from the
download section of our web?  If so, then if you want to email me your .adi
file, I'll take a look.  You can send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
