This has been a gripe of mine since DXB2002, it (in my opinion of course!)
should work like this.

1/ Spots get discarded after they are older then a user defined no. of
minutes. Spots are time sensitive and old spots are not a lot of use after
30 min or so.
Put discard age of 0 for current behavior if anyone actually wants to
continue doing it the current way.

2/ newer spots for the same station should always displayed at the bottom
of the list, the newer spots often contain additional information such as
more up to date split info or QSL routes and confirm the station is still
on frequency. The older spot can be removed from the list IF it is on the
same band segment.

3/ When a user has scrolled back to see an older spot, new incoming spots
SHOULD NOT automatically move the list back to the bottom again. I,e
Scrolling back should (temporarily ) disable screen updates. The Current
behavior is EXTREMELY irritating on a contest weekend.

4/ how about allowing wild cards in the callsign alerts filter, I.e I
normally only want HF CW and 6m CW/SSB spots But I want to know about ALL
spots for, say JT stations so I put JT* into the alerts filter.

5/ NO VHF window on startup IF no TNC is enabled, An option to allow DXB to
auto-connect to an Internet cluster at startup. Keep alive function for VHF
cluster connections that require it.

6/ Support for more than one format for extracting spot info, I.e DXB
recognizes DX DE as a spot but it would be nice if it also recognized spots
starting with the frequency which is the format used by many clusters when
the SH command is used. This would allow loading up the DX info pane with
recent spots when connecting to a cluster for the first time or following a
change of the filter settings.
For example many clusters can be configured to show the last N spots when a
connection is made. DXB should be able to parse this information correctly
even though it is in many cases in a different format (the SH/DX format,
frequency first ) than normal incoming spots (DX DE ... )

7/ right clicking a spot to enter it into the log should always read the
radio VFO for frequency / mode Not take this from the spot UNLESS no radio
is interfaced to DXB.

It would be nice to disable the resize row / column option as I am
endlessly resizing the rows when trying to select a row in a hurry. this
could apply to all DXB windows! resizing rows (or columns )is not something
that I do very often
