As for your question about your B vfo not being set to the correct mode. this is a problem that I have asked Jack about and so for he has not come up with a solution. I do not believe there is anything wrong with DXBase here, it is a separate feature of the Kenwood TS-2000 that is giving you trouble. Check the Kenwood manual on page 73 under "AUTO MODE." I believe you have the "AUTO MODE" function turned on. On the TS-2000 display does the word "AUTO" appear next to the mode?
