The format for sending a split spot is to use QSX frequency or QSX UP or
Down so many, in the comments field, examples below
DX de KD4K 28500.00 QSX 28505.00
DX de KD4K 28500.00 QSX up 5

As for your question about your B vfo not being set to the correct mode.
this is a problem that I have asked Jack about and so for he has not come
up with a solution. I sure hope they get it fixed in the new version though.

Subject: [DXBase] spots now set the qsy ok ...

Hi Clarck, all,

No the function was "not" on, but I was thinking in the same direction, and
I took the manual and checked the extra details on the automode. For some
reason, after doing a reset of the VFO part, it now works. I can't be shure
yet, but I've made about 10 band changes by clicking spots and it seems to
keep the good mode.

Can someone confirm if 'split' operations is covered ? How is it retained
from the spot window, I mean what does an operator has to log to have DXbase
set the split for a spot.

1 down, few to go, thanks group !

  Hi Phil,

I think I have solved your problem. I do not believe there is
anything wrong with DXBase here, it is a separate feature of the Kenwood
TS-2000 that is giving you trouble.

Check the Kenwood manual on page 73 under "AUTO MODE." I believe you
have the "AUTO MODE" function turned on. On the TS-2000 display does the
word "AUTO" appear next to the mode? If so, press [FUNC], {LSB/USB/AUTO]
and the word "AUTO" will disappear and your spots from DXBase should change
the frequency and mode of the TS-2000 just as you would expect and the mode
will stay where it should and not change back to USB or FM.
