I'm using DXBase 2003 on a Win98 box with plenty of memory. For some
reason, some of the fields in the Summary window are not updated when a new
call sign is being summarized. For example, while running the Internet
cluster, each new spot is summarized in the Summary window. However, the
Short Path and Long Path fields do not always change with a new call sign
when it is obvious they should (ie VE3 to XE1 (I'm in W4)).
In fact, it appears that those fields get stuck and are not updated for long
periods of time despite new call signs being cycled through the Summary
window. Even when I click on a spot, those fields do not change and are
often inaccurate. The call sign changes, the window containing the
Worked/Confirmed info changes, the name of the country in the lower left
corner changes, but the heading and associated fields do not.
I believe my DXBase 2003 has been doing this all along (I've been using it
since last spring) but I only recently began using the information in those
fields so it hasn't been a problem until now. What could be causing this to
occur?
