Just updated to Win XP-PRO 2.4 Ghz
1 Gig RDRAM Installed DXB 2003, Imported Data, all went OK. User options set to: Yaesu Ft1000MP Connect Hf radio serial interface is CHECKED COM1 4800 WL 8 Stop 2 Parity NONE When I first try to click on a need one I get the "HF radio failed to respond" do you want to disable, I CLICK ON NO. The radio then responds to the proper frequency/band. Further clicking on new spots changes the radio frequency. If I click on log the contact it DOES, and populates all entries properly! If I manually change bands on the radio and then work a station on another frequency, I enter the call, hit enter, but I get no entry in the "frequency" field and the "band" entry goes to "default" (20m). Sometimes the "frequency" field gets populated with erroneous data. I have initialized the database, restarted DxBase, restarted the computer but this keeps happening!
