Brendan, I have finished making your custom label file with the BURO callsign textbox field in the upper right-hand corner..
Since the reflector can not handle attachments - I will be sending the file to you via separate email.. If anyone would like to see the finished file that I am sending to Brendan, just email me for a copy -- Brendan - I placed "multiple" TEXTBOX's on top of each other in the upper-right corner of the label file -- and have CODED each textbox to ONLY PRINT a certain CALLSIGN variable :::: Such as: If the MANAGER call is there - it is used ... If there is NO Manager and the station's CALL does NOT have any "portable" (e.g.: WA5/WA6AXE) - then the CALL is used straight-away ... If there is NO Manager and the station's CALL DOES have a "portable" (e.g.: EA8/EI6EZ) - the "portable" is stripped off and only the Basic CALL is printed... The above is usable for a 3 lettered call (e.g.: W3C) or a 4 lettered call (e.g.: W4CC) or 5 lettered call (e.g.: W6ZZZ) or a 6 lettered call (e.g.: WA6AXE) .... I have tested the LOGIC and it works here for me .. let me know if this kind of file is what you were looking for Brendan! 73 de Joe WA6AXE Brendan Minish wrote: > > Hi Joe > > At 09:31 20/01/2003 -0600, Joe Glockner wrote: > >Brendan, > >I first have a few questions.. > > > >Did you make a custom CARD file or a custom LABEL File.. > >Since the file prints directly to your card, > >I assume that this is a CRD file and not a LBL file..?? > > It's a LBL file, I don't mind redoing it to turn it into a CRD file if > there is any advantage to doing this, it's a very simple layout. > > >What was the format that you used (constantly) in putting > >the EA8/EI6IZ calls into your log??
