Art,

The neat part of the DXbase2003 designer module is that there is
SO MUCH POWER there - and so much flexibility... so, as you
have noted, I cna do the solution one way - and then you can
achieve the same outcome another way -- but, we both come out
with what we wanted in the final process..

OH- sri -- WRT is " With Regards To " ... And, no Art, I
am not a programmer .. I am an electronic technician by
profession - and a Retired US Navy Senior Chief by my previous
profession (Cryptologic Technician) .. BUT, I (like you) got the
BUG for what I could possibly do with the label designer module
(way back in DXbase98) and simply self-taught myself what to do
in the designer modules..

What you see of the MYCALL variable is from earlier versions
of DXbase (windows version) - before the OPRCALL was made
available to us as a variable... Each person can change any
of the label files that come with the DXbase2003 CDROM - to
meet their own needs.. That is the beauty of the designer module.
Just to make one from total scratch - or to take an already made
label file and alter it to your needs - or just simply use the
file as is.. there is so much flexibility - to meet anyones needs.

The CARD on your webpage is GREAT!!!!!
