I found that to be true for all screens except "DX Info". I can change the color of it, but when I reboot it goes back to the white background. The other screens such as "VHF Packet", "Internet Cluster", and "Summary", retain the changes when rebooting. No big thing though. The Load Default button returns your changes to the original settings that were supplied with the install disk. You need to make your changes and then put a check into the little box next to Save As Default.
