I don't mind resizing each one, and most of them retain the column width. I want columns narrower than the contents for QTH and Notes, for instance, as I want to save screen space for other columns. I keep Frequency narrow, also for instance, than the column heading for the same reason.
The one column that doesn't maintain the column width for me the is mode column in the Summary window.
