Tom,

Let me just say this... It is a known issue, but to say it is a DXbase
problem as opposed to a Microsoft problem is a bit premature. The issue
does not happen on Win95 or Win98. It also does not always happen on Win2K
but it does sometimes. It is the same DXbase code regardless of
what operating system you are using. This same issue has been reported for
other software that also uses the Microsoft standard and accesses the
internet.
So, why not say it is a Microsoft operating system issue? Just making a
point.
We have forwarded the issue many times to Microsoft developer support, but
as
of yet, we don't have any response from them. It could be a DXbase issue,
but
since we comform to Microsoft standards for internet access in our code and
in
fact we use the Microsoft .dll files to do it, it will require their
assistance to isolate why the
behavior is different on their operating systems when a connection to the
ISP is lost.

It's on our list of things we are tracking.

Thanks,
Jack
