I exported my log files from Log Windows in ADIF format and imported them into Dxbase 2003. (Yeah, I know...NOW I see the part about don't actually DO an import the first time!) I received over 75 error or warning messages after the import. It appears that LW assigned some "QTH" data into the "STATE" box. I went back and corrected all of those in LW.
I also have a handful of "MODE" warnings from Dxbase upon doing the import. All of the contacts had been entered as "PSK" in Log Windows. I have two questions: 1) Which Dxbase file do I remove to delete all the LW imports that I originally did so I can import the cleaned-up files? Can I do this without losing all my preferences and log settings in Dxbase? 2) What MODE do I change the old LW files to in order for my old PSK contacts to import correctly to Dxbase?
