Sergei,

XP installs its own default hosts file. Since it exists, DXbase will not
overwrite it. Therefore, it will be necessary for you to either copy the
hosts file that was placed into your DXbase folder into the appropriate
system file on XP, or, you can copy the data out of the hosts file in your
DXbase folder and paste it into the hosts file that is already on your
system. Info about this is in the DXbase help file.

After doing this, the various internet sites will be listed in your internet
user options and you can select the right IP location.

Regards,
Courtney

Subject: [DXBase] Automatic dialling

Hi everybody,

could someone help me in the following situation.
When I open New Internet Cluster Window I can't be automatically connected
to the internet getting instead the icon "Could not connect to the site!"
followed by "Packet Comm Mgr initialization failed..." That may be because I
upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP. In Win98 DXB automatically dialed
modem and displayed Internet Cluster window.
What settings should be made to allow this automatic connection?

Thank you,

 Regards & 73 de Sergei
