I agree.
That's why I like the Epsons, they have top loading which I find to be much
more conducive to card stock.
I've not had good luck with HP printers either. Even those that did have top
loading.

I have never been able to get any of the HP Deskjet series to print
single cards. Their feed mechanism is just not suitable for single
card stock.
