I just went through this. In the Operator column is your callsign, This info is used in some of the qsl card printing code, reports etc.
I have one large log with all my calls in it. In the proper date section of course. When you upgrade to 2004, you tell DXB people what calls you wish to register. Those calls are included in the key and allows you to use the callsigns. You can use a different .mdb for each call or one large .mdb. For DXCC tracking purposes, I think one large .mdb containing all you USA callsigns would be the way to go. You wouldn't want to include a KH6, KL7, etc. operation in as they are separate entities from the USA. As I also am a qsl manager for a number of stations. I have a key including those callsigns and keep a separate .mdb for each callsign. Upon starting .mdb I just select which callsign I wish to work on. Now LoTW presents a problem. I presently have to export only one callsign at a time. You can't upload WN9VOL, WA9VOL, and W9OL qso's in one big log. But no problem, DXB wizard allows you to export to an .adi file by selecting a call from the Operator column. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wayne Jones" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Dave Chasey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, May 31, 2003 11:58 PM Subject: RE: [DXBase] Vanity call > For what it's worth, I imported everything into one database under the new > call.
