because LoTW only accepts SSB and does not differentiate between USB or LSB. In the signing process there is a option to 'map' various modes that LoTW does not yet recognize to one of the modes they do.
The same thing will happen if you submit a qso for say... "FeldHell" which LoTW only accepts PSK. I had to 'map' a few of mine also. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carsten Esch" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Don Hill AA5AU'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "DXBase List" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 23, 2003 1:51 AM Subject: AW: [DXBase] Logbook of the World (LOTW) Beta Test Tutorial > Great job on the tutorial Don, thanks! > Maybe you (or one of the other guys on this list have an idea why the USB > (and LSB) QSOs create an error like this when submitting the log: > > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Error in record 8: MODE: Invalid value in > field (USB) > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Record 8 ignored due to errors > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Error in record 9: MODE: Invalid value in > field (USB) > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Record 9 ignored due to errors > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Error in record 11: MODE: Invalid value in > field (USB) > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Record 11 ignored due to errors > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Error in record 12: MODE: Invalid value in > field (USB) > 2003-07-23 06:38:37 LOTW_QSO: Record 12 ignored due to errors > > 73sss > > Carsten, DL6LAU > > _______________________________________________ > DXBase Reflector - Please visit us on the web at www.dxbase.com > - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > To UNSUBSCRIBE please visit: > http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase > >
