Well, I think I solved my problem. Apparently the Pqsodflt.co
file became corrupted. Here is what I did to fix it:

STEP 1: I created a new Field Order file using the
FIELD ORDER utility in the DXBASE Programs
        folder and named it Pqsodflt-NEW.co

STEP 2: I renamed the Pqsodflt.co file found in the
        following folder:

        "C:\Program Files\Scientific Solutions\DXbase 2004"

        to Pqsodflt-OLD.co

STEP 3: I renamed the new Field Order file, also found
        in the folder:

        "C:\Program Files\Scientific Solutions\DXbase 2004"

        from Pqsodflt-NEW.co to Pqsodflt.co

Voila! Everything appears to be working again. Stay tuned...

Subject: [DXBase] View Previous QSO interface corrupted

Jack,

Today, when I attempted to mark a few QSLs received using the Previous QSO
interface (accessed by pressing Alt-V, then P) my DXbase 2004 crashed. The
program locked up when I pressed <Alt-F> keys after entering a call sign in
the search field of the Previous QSO dialog box. The entire program froze,
and the only way to exit the program was by pressing the <Cntl-Alt-Del>
keys, choosing "DxBase 2004 (program not responding)" from the list of
programs then clicking END TASK. Before attempting to run DXbase again, I
shut down my computer, rebooted the operating system, then opened DxBase
2004 and ran the Initialize Tables function as I was instructed. After
Initializing the Tables, I went back to the Previous QSO interface (Alt-V, P
from the main program window) and noticed that all of the column headings
are missing and "__:__" (without the quotes) appears in their place. When I
search for a particular call sign (by entering a call and pressing the Alt-F
keys or clicking the Find button) a list of the QSOs is returned, but the
fields (date, RSTs, etc.) for each record appearing in the window (except
for the call sign field) contain only "__:__" (again without the quotes).
When I attempt to scroll to the right to view subsequent fields, the program
locks up.

The program, including the Previous QSO function, worked properly earlier in
the day. So what have I done to my program?
