Bill, An easy way to fix the adif file you are submitting is to load it into the LoTW TSQL program and then save it. Among other things that will automatically change USB and LSB to SSB. Open the TSQL program, then click on 'File', then 'Edit existing ADIF file ...', then save it. No need to make any edits yourself.
