Jim There have been four upgrades since the version you are using. We don't have that old code available to look at so we cannot examine what might be happening. It would seem that some other software installation or uninstallation has tampered with a critical .dll. I think best course is to reinstall.

I'm still using DXBase 2000 (on a Win98 system). It recently stopped working. When I try to load it, I get a brief hour-glass and then a return to windows. Is this condition something any of you are familiar with? I assume (in loading a trial version of some software) I have lost a DLL or other component that DXBase needs - but don't have a clue as to what.. Further assume that I probably need to reload the software but haven't had to do that in so long, as still searching for the CD, Hi-hi. Any suggestions? Or I'll continue searching for the CD...
