Hey Guys
Tony has already told you about the Valid field.
But I'm curious, and was wondering.
Why WOULDN'T you wish to count a station/entity that you worked but never
received a qsl
card for?

You did work it. You just were unsuccessful in obtaining a qsl for the contact.
I've got a LOT of those.
I have a number of band mode slots still unconfirmed.

There is a sort of 'unofficial contest or goal called the Dream Total.
That is working every entity on each band, 10 through 160 on each of the three
modes, cw,
ssb, digital.
Over 8K of qso's.
No fancy plagues, no paper, just a personal type goal.
As those of us chasing these 'Impossible Dream' realize that getting the qsl's
may be
harder than working them all, we subscribe to the "Honor System".

I'm presently at 4962 worked, only 3748 of those confirmed.

At my rate of working them, I figure I need 4 more solar cycles to have them
all.
Pretty sure I don't have 4 more solar cycles left in me.
But who's counting?

So if you want to join in this Quixotic type quest, Keep it in your log and
join in the
(fun?).
