This has been a problem for a while.
Too bad your using the lpt port.
I have one trick that seems to work all the time but only if it's a com port.
You open a program like MMTTY, Hamscope, or even a different PSK program for 
the one
included in DXB.
You set it to the same com port as the DXBase CW port is set to.
Leave the program running in the background.
CW now works for me that way.
As I'm a rtty op, I just leave MMTTY running in the background.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

BTW: The usb to comport adapters will not work this way.
Has to be a motherboard comport or like a SIIG multi comport card.
